Classical music was my first obsession; completely intoxicated by opera and orchestral works at a young age. In my early twenties, I went to Europe to study opera and take auditions while violin busking and playing in bands. Then, I moved into a life of being a military musician, which has brought me strength and humility through intense performing and travel. The unusual nature of my lifestyle continues to push me towards artistic refinement and creative exploration.
I believe that creating music and art are practices of the soul and medicine for the brain. Creativity can heal communities, foster wellness, and bring transformative justice. I have long-standing interests in music and sound as healing modalities. I believe that singing can unlock the mind, body, and spirit. My curiosity with zoo- musicology continues to be an ongoing passion project.
As a highly sensitive person, my discovery process is intuitive and researched. A lifelong dedication to the discipline of music has led me to study sound, psychology, health, animals, education, and spirituality. I'm inspired by the whimsical nature of reality. Through this multi-faceted lens, I find freedom, joy, and lightness of being in living authentically.
My dog, “Sir" Ollie, pictured here, is the star of my world! I want to thank him for being my greatest teacher, earnest companion, and the absolute love of my life. His wisdom and compassion guide me home.
